Las elecciones de Senadores de la República se verificarán en los quince primeros días del mes de marzo; las de Representantes al Congreso el segundo domingo de mayo; las de Diputados a las Asambleas Departamentales el primer domingo de febrero, y las de Concejeros Municipales el primer domingo de octubre. Los escrutinios de estas elecciones, excepción hecha de la de Senadores, se verificarán en las fechas que señala la Ley 85 de 1916 .

En los términos de este artículo queda modificado el artículo 2º de la Ley 31 de 1929 .
