: La Junta nacional de amortización dictará las providencias necesarias para cambiar los billetes emitidos por el Gobierno, por una edición nueva que preste suficientes garantía contra las falsificaciones.

Parágrafo

Para esta operación la Junta podrá invertir hasta doscientos cincuenta mil pesos ($250,000) oro, tomado de los fondos que se destinan a la amortización.
