Artículo cuarto. Las empresas férreas podrán establecer, en los cruces de sus líneas con las vías y calles públicas de tránsito intenso, guardas o barreras, o cadenas, o señales luminosas, o cualesquiera otros medios apropiados, con el fin de que se interrumpa con la debida anticipación el paso de vehículos automotores, o de cualquiera otra clase, semovientes, personas, etc.
