Mientras el seguro organiza y asume los servicios médicos y asistenciales de los asegurados, los patronos no podrán suspender las prestaciones médicas, hospitalarias; de farmacia y de maternidad que en la actualidad reconozca a sus trabajadores, sino cuando hayan cumplido el respectivo periodo de cotizaciones previas.
