Igualmente, habrá lugar al recurso de casación contra las sentencias de segunda instancia dictadas por los Tribunales Superiores de Distrito Judicial en causas de que hayan conocido los Jueces de Circuito, por delitos que tengan señalada una sanción privativa de la libertad personal cuyo máximo sea o exceda de cinco años.
