Cuando se solicite la adjudicación de terrenos baldíos comprendidos dentro del área que esté encerrada por el perímetro de un contrato de exploración y explotación de Petróleo, se dará cuenta de la solicitud al concesionario, con el objeto de que, si lo desea presente al Ministerio de Minas y Petróleos las peticiones que estime convenientes a fin de que al concederse la adjudicación de baldíos se garanticen al explorador y al explotador de petróleos los derechos que a su favor establece el artículo 26.
