º. De las tarifas y criterios para el pago de beneficios. El Ministerio de Salud establecerá las tarifas y los criterios para el pago de los gastos médicos, quirúrgicos, farmacéuticos y hospitalarios que deban hacerse a las Instituciones Prestadoras de Salud por causa de accidentes de tránsito y eventos catastróficos. Podrán establecerse mecanismos de pago tales como capitación, pago integral por diagnóstico (PIDAS) o por servicios. Mientras se establecen las tarifas y criterios a que hace referencia el inciso anterior, se seguirá aplicando el Manual de Tarifas SOAT-FONSAT vigente.
