Artículo tercero. Esta Ley entrará en vigencia una vez cumplidos los requisitos establecidos en la Ley 7º. del 30 de noviembre de 1944 en relación con el Convenio y el Protocolo que por esta misma Ley se aprueba.

Ley 8 de 1980 · por medio de la cual se aprueba la "Convención Internacional para la Seguridad de la Vida Humana en el Mar", firmado en Londres el 1° de noviembre de 1974, y el Protocolo de 1978 relativo al Convenio Internacional para la Seguridad de la Vida Humana en el Mar", firmado en Londres el 16 de febrero de 1978 y se autoriza al Gobierno Nacional para adherir a los mismos.
