Se comprenden en situación de retiro temporal los Oficiales retirados del servicio activo por solicitud propia o por llamamiento a calificar servicios por voluntad propia o por voluntad del Gobierno, mientras llegan a las edades fijadas en este Decreto. Llegados a estas edades pasan a la situación de reserva, con obligaciones militares hasta los sesenta años.
