PORTE DE ARMAS. Los miembros de la Fuerza Pública y los guardianes, que tuvieren a su cargo el traslado de condenados o detenidos o la vigilancia externa de los establecimientos de reclusión o la custodia de los reclusos que trabajen al aire libre, están autorizados para portar armas con el fin de disuadir y controlar cualquier intento de fuga que pueda presentarse.
