Autorízase al Gobierno para que suspenda provisionalmente o definitivamente, parcial o totalmente, la ejecución y los efectos de las disposiciones contenidas en la Ley 8º de 1935, por la cual se modifica el régimen de la moneda fraccionaria. Previo concepto favorable de la junta Directiva del Banco de la República se devolverán a la circulación las monedas de plata de cincuenta, veinte y diez centavos que fueron recogidas por mandato de la Ley 8º de 1935, y se retirarán los billetes de medio peso que estén en el poder del público.
