Si la casa estuviere cerrada y nadie contestare al llamamiento, pasados diez minutos se procederá a la apertura y lanzamiento. Cuando se trate de un campo inhabitado, el Alcalde al llegar a cualquiera de sus linderos, hará en alta voz el llamamiento prevenido, y pasados diez minutos procederá a entregar la finca al querellante.
