Limpieza de los alrededores de cabezas motrices y tambores de retorno. Las cabezas motrices, los tambores de retorno y sus alrededores deben limpiarse en cada turno de operación, estando la instalación detenida y apagada, para evitar la acumulación de polvo; en caso de ser necesario, deben diseñarse e implementarse sistemas de limpieza hidráulicos o mecánicos que no impliquen exposición de los trabajadores a los riesgos asociados al procedimiento.
