ARTICULO XVII. 1º El presente Convenio entrará provisionalmente en vigor en la fecha de su firma y definitivamente en la de su ratificación. 2º Mientras se hace el depósito de los Instrumentos de Ratificación y entra definitivamente en vigor este Convenio, se comprometen las Partes Contratantes a hacer efectivas, hasta donde lo permitan sus facultades constitucionales, las disposiciones del mismo, a partir de la fecha de su firma. En fe de todo lo cual, los Plenipotenciarios infrascritos, debidamente autorizados por sus respectivos Gobiernos, firman y sellan el presente Convenio. Hecho en Madrid, a once de diciembre de mil novecientos cincuenta y uno, en doble ejemplar, en lengua española.
