Art. 36. Las pensiones que en lo sucesivo se decreten, empezarán a tener efecto desde el dia primero de setiembre del año en que se hubiere votado la partida para pagarlas.

Para que esto tenga lugar la Corte Suprema dará aviso al Congreso de las pensiones que haya declarado.
