Los individuos que entren a servir como Oficiales de Reserva en el grado de Subteniente, sólo podrán ascender hasta Capitanes de Reserva; y los que pasan del Ejército activo a la Reserva podrán ascender únicamente al grado inmediato superior al que tenían al retirarse de aquél sin pasar de Coronel.
