º . Inspección del saneamiento contable. La Contaduría General de la Nación, en ejercicio de sus funciones, llevará a cabo las labores de inspección que sean necesarias y le permitan determinar el cumplimiento de las disposiciones relacionadas con el proceso de saneamiento contable y, en consecuencia, que los entes públicos suministran información contable que refleja la realidad económica, financiera y patrimonial. En cumplimiento de dichas labores también podrá solicitar información relativa al proceso de saneamiento contable de cualquier entidad pública.
