Fondo de Desarrollo para La Guajira-FONDEG. El Fondo de Desarrollo para La Guajira creado en virtud del artículo 19 de la Ley 677 de 2001, que en adelante se denominará FONDEG, es una cuenta especial sin personería jurídica adscrita al Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público, sujeta a las normas y principios que regulan la contabilidad general del Estado y a las normas y principios establecidos en la Ley Orgánica del Presupuesto en lo pertinente, así como al control fiscal de la Contraloría General de la República.
