Origen. La Medalla Militar “Escuela Militar de Cadetes”, categoría única, creada mediante Decreto número 971 del 30 de mayo de 1996, para estimular a quienes se hayan caracterizado por sus méritos militares, profesionales y servicios eminentes prestados en beneficio del Instituto.
