Cuando se denuncie la defunción de una persona menor de un año, el registrador indagará si el nacimiento está inscrito, y si concluye negativamente, practicará también el registro de aquel, si fuere competente para ello, o dará aviso al funcionario que lo sea, para que este haga la inscripción.
