Asignaciones y prestaciones sociales. A partir del 1° de junio de 1988, las asignaciones de los Alcaldes serán señaladas por el Concejo Municipal, teniendo en cuenta los mínimos y máximos que establezca el Gobierno Nacional mediante decreto y serán pagadas por el respectivo municipio. Las prestaciones sociales estarán a cargo del mismo o de la entidad de Previsión Social. Los sueldos y prestaciones sociales causados antes de la citada fecha, serán reconocidos y pagados por las entidades que los venían sufragando.
