ART 210. El administrador de Banco, que emita y tenga en circulación una cantidad mayor de cédulas ó billetes que la autorizada por la ley, pagará una multa igual á la mitad del valor de los billetes excedentes, que deberá recoger; y si el valor fuere de más de mil pesos, ó si por efecto de la emisión abusiva se hubiere puesto el Banco en dificultades, con perjuicio del público, se añadirá arresto por seis meses á dos años.
