Las acciones posesorias que consagran las leyes vigentes, tratándose de predios rurales, sólo pueden invocarse por quien acredite una posesión material de la naturaleza especificada en los artículos 1° y 4° de esta ley.

Lo dispuesto en este artículo es sin perjuicio de que los dueños y tenedores de predios rurales puedan ejercitar las acciones posesorias especiales que les otorgan las leyes vigentes.
