La disciplina militar impone la observancia de los siguientes deberes primordiales: fidelidad a la Patria; sujeción a las instituciones que rigen al país ya las autoridades constitucional y legítimamente constituidas; obediencia al superior en el mando; respeto al superior en el grado; sometimiento al régimen de servicio. Esta enumeración no excluye los demás deberes inherentes a la profesión militar.
