Art. 1º Los deudos de militares ó de individuos que, haciendo parte del Ejército ó de la marina de la República, mueran o hayan muerto en la presente guerra por causa del servicio y carezcan de bienes de fortuna, disfrutarán, en calidad de recompensa provisional, del sueldo de que gozaba el finado, desde el día de su fallecimiento, sin perjuicio del derecho que le asista conforme a la Ley 194 de 1896.
