Articulo 1º El articulo 2º del Decreto legislativo núm.ero.0004 de 1959 quedará así: Los préstamos de rehabilitación serán amortizados gradualmente, y, tendrán un límite máximo de treinta mil pesos ($ 30.000.00) moneda corriente, para cada persona o entidad. El Banco Popular podrá conceder a los prestatarios un plazo muerto hasta de cuatro (4) años, contado desde la fecha de otorgamiento del crédito, durante el cual atenderán únicamente al pago de intereses. Cuando así se estipule, los abonos a capital serán exigibles al vencimiento de dicho plazo.
