La autoridad minera podrá realizar visitas técnicas de verificación de la producción, con el objeto de realizar la liquidación de las regalías, cuando considere que los pagos de regalías de los reconocimientos de propiedad privada inscritos en el Registro Minero Nacional, no corresponden a la producción declarada para el período liquidado.
