Reserva legal. La reserva legal de las cajas de compensación familiar será hasta del 3% de sus recaudos por concepto de Subsidio Familiar obtenido en el semestre inmediatamente anterior, de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el numeral 3°, del artículo 43 de la Ley 21 de 1982.

La reserva legal solo podrá ser utilizada para atender oportunamente obligaciones de la caja, hasta la suma fijada por el Consejo Directivo conforme al artículo 58 de la misma ley.

Disminuida o agotada la reserva deberá conformarse nuevamente en los títulos correspondientes, inmediatamente la corporación supere la iliquidez que originó la utilización de aquélla.
