El Presidente de la República designará el liquidador del Departamento Administrativo de Intendencias y Comisarías (DAINCO) quien deberá reunir las mismas calidades exigidas para el Director de DAINCO, tendrá su remuneración y estará sujeto a las inhabilidades, incompatibilidades, responsabilidades y demás disposiciones previstas para éste. El liquidador de DAINCO ejercerá las funciones previstas para el Director de la entidad, en cuanto no sean incompatibles con la liquidación.
