El Centro tendrán un director ad honorem que será el descendiente mayor en línea directa de Jorge Eliécer Gaitán, quien podrá designar un suplente personal que lo reemplace en sus ausencias temporales en aquellas funciones que la ley y los estatutos del Centro le asignan.
