Art. 5.° Cédense asimismo a los respectivos Municipios, en los términos y con las formalidades prescritas en el artículo precedente, los terrenos que sirvieron de Resguardo a poblaciones de indígenas que constituyen dichos Municipios por haber adquirido en cualquier tiempo la categoría de Distritos.

Parágrafo

La disposición de este artículo no comprende a los Resguardos que hayan sido repartidos según leyes preexistentes.
