ART 304. Cuando el individuo haya muerto en el campo de batalla, y la recompensa á que por su grado tenga derecho, no alcance á $1,500 y deje, por otra parte, viuda é hijos legítimos cuyo número en conjunto pase de seis, deberá aumentarse la recompensa en la proporción de $250 por cada una de las personas excedentes. Para los efectos de esta disposición sólo se reputarán como hijos los varones menores de edad y las mujeres solteras.
