Las personas cuyo patrimonio no pase de cien mil pesos estarán exentas del impuesto establecido por el artículo anterior de esta Ley.

Parágrafo

Para beneficiarse de esta exención los interesados deberán comprobar que no poseen patrimonio superior a cien mil pesos, presentando al efecto un certificado sobre el monto de su declaración patrimonial, o copia de su declaración de renta y patrimonio del año gravable anterior, autenticada por el respectivo administrador o recaudador de Hacienda Nacional.
