No pueden ser elegidos Diputados a las Asambleas Departamentales por un Círculo electoral, los individuos que en todo o parte de él ejercieren el día de las votaciones o hubieren ejercido en los tres meses anteriores a ellas, las funciones de Juez de Circuito o de cualquiera otro empleo nacional o departamental, con jurisdicción ordinaria, militar o coactiva.
