Articulo 48. Los giros telegráficos se formularan en talonarios por triplicado que serán suministrados por el servicio de giros. El talón firmado por el remitente o enterante, debe quedar en la oficina emisora; el duplicado, igualmente firmado por el enterante, será remitido a la Contraloría General con la cuenta respectiva; y el triplicado, firmado por el administrador de correos, debe entregarse al remitente.
