Mientras subsistan las actuales condiciones de anormalidad económica, y las dificultades para la consecución de maquinaria y equipos, el Ministerio del ramo podrá ampliar o prorrogar prudencialmente los plazos que tanto para la exploración como para la explotación de las minas de la reserva nacional se hayan estipulado en los contratos celebrados con anterioridad a la vigencia de la presente Ley, o aceptar la renuncia del contratista.
