Declárese como la "Semana de la Seguridad Social" la última semana del mes de abril de cada año, en honor al 27 de abril de 1955, fecha en la cual entró en vigencia el Convenio 102 de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT) (Norma Mínima) que, conjuntamente con la Declaración de Filadelfia, constituye una de las referencias mundiales de mayor relevancia, influencia e impacto en materia de Seguridad Social.
