Las disposiciones del presente Capítulo se aplicarán en la celebración de contratos sobre tecnologías espaciales entendidos como aquellos cuyo objeto incluya la construcción o la adquisición de artefactos destinados a ser colocados en el espacio ultraterrestre y/o el lanzamiento de los mismos al espacio ultraterrestre.
