El Poder Ejecutivo queda ampliamente facultado para aumentar el número de ingenieros adscritos a la Oficina de Longitudes y señalarles sueldos, y para hacer lo propio con los técnicos del servicio geográfico del Ejército.

Facúltase asimismo para adquirir un equipo completo y moderno para el Observatorio Astronómico Nacional y para dotar a la Oficina de Longitudes y al Estado Mayor de todo lo necesario para los trabajos geodésicos y los servicios de fotografía, fotogrametría ye estereofotogrametría.
