°. Funciones del Consejo de la Distinción al Mérito “Esmeralda Arboleda Cadavid”. El Consejo tendrá las siguientes funciones

Definir los requisitos para el otorgamiento de la Distinción al Mérito “Esmeralda Arboleda Cadavid”.

Analizar las cualidades y los méritos de las personas naturales y/o jurídicas, públicas o privadas, nacionales y/o extranjeras postuladas a recibir la Distinción.

Decidir sobre las solicitudes de la Distinción puestas a su consideración.

Parágrafo

Cualquier miembro del Consejo podrá presentar proposiciones con el fin de conferir la distinción.
