Son atribuciones del Comité Nacional de Fotografía y Camarografía las siguientes:

a)

Clasificar, según su especialización, a los profesionales de la fotografía y camarografía;

b)

Organizar, conservar y actualizar periódicamente el registro legal de estos profesionales;

c)

Expedir el Código de Etica Profesional y establecer las sanciones en caso de su violación;

d)

Asesorar a las instituciones de educación superior que tengan programas de estudio de esta modalidad y al ICFES;

e)

Expedir las tarjetas profesionales.
