A costa del Tesoro Público y bajo la dirección del Ministerio de Educación Nacional, se hará una edición de las obras del doctor José de la Vega para distribuir en establecimientos de educación y bibliotecas públicas, y entregar mil ejemplares a su familia.

Un retrato al óleo del distinguido desaparecido, será colocado en los salones del honorable Senado.
