La Dirección General de Minas podrá en cualquier tiempo ordenar que por los ingenieros del servicio minero se verifiquen los datos y comprobaciones aducidos por los interesados para demostrar el hecho de la explotación de las minas. Esta verificación se practicará a costa del interesado, cuando se ordene en virtud de la deficiencia de las pruebas presentadas al efecto.
