El Comité Interinstitucional deberá en todas sus actuaciones propender por el cumplimiento de los principios de la dignidad humana, igualdad, razonabilidad y seguridad jurídica de las entidades religiosas. Así mismo, garantizará los derechos de libertad religiosa y de cultos, el derecho a la igualdad y los demás derechos adquiridos, conforme a la Constitución Política y las disposiciones sobre la materia.
