La vigencia de las credenciales y de los certificados públicos termina el 31 de diciembre del año de su expedición. Tales documentos son renovables de acuerdo con el artículo 4 de la Ley 65 de 1966, siempre que no se haya producido un hecho determinante de inhabilidad.
