La adquisición de los bienes muebles que requiera el instituto, se hará conforme a las disposiciones del Decreto 2370 de 1968, cuando para determinados bienes, o clases de bienes, así lo disponga la Junta Directiva del Instituto Nacional de provisiones, con la aprobación del gobierno Nacional. Las compras directas que pueda realizar conforme al mismo Decreto, se ajustaran a las disposiciones generales vigentes sobre la materia, y las particulares que se consagran en estos estatutos.
