Artículo tercero. Las Inspecciones Permanentes de Policía tendrán, además de las funciones de Policía que actualmente competen a los Juzgados Permanentes de Bogotá y que están señaladas en los ordinales 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 y 18 del artículo 19 del Decreto 650 de 1943, el conocimiento en primera instancia de los asuntos de que trata el artículo 49 del Código de Procedimiento Penal.
