El fabricante, importador y/o transportador de un producto o sustancia química con características peligrosas, para los efectos de la presente ley, se equiparará a un generador, en cuanto a la responsabilidad por el manejo de los embalajes, transporte o movilización, almacenamiento hasta su descarga y recepción en el destino final, residuos del producto o sustancia y elementos de protección personal utilizados en la manipulación de este tipo de residuos.
