Art. 25. Ocho días antes de aquel en que deben tener lugar votaciones, y en todos ellos consecutivamente, los Alcaldes harán publicar un bando para advertir á los ciudadanos el deber que tienen de concurrir á votar. Se les explicará claramente los días en ue pueden verificarlo y la elección que se va á hacer. La falta de cumplimiento á lo dispuesto en este artículo hará incurrir al funcionario en referencia en una multa de $ 50 á $ 100 sin perjuicio del juicio de responsabilidad.
