Art. 18. Las raciones que deben darse a los individuos que forman la escolta de conducción de los reos, se fijarán por las Asambleas departamentales; mientras estas Corporaciones establecen las reglas necesarias sobre el particular, las raciones serán las siguientes: cincuenta centavos diarios la del Jefe de la escolta y cuarenta centavos la de cada uno de los individuos que la compongan.

Parágrafo

Si la importancia de la comisión hiciere necesario que la escolta tenga uno o más cabos, cada uno de éstos tendrá una ración diaria de cuarenta y cinco centavos.
